DC File Storage
DFSNFS & SMB Shares
DC File Storage provides shared folders on the platform’s distributed storage, exported over NFS for Linux and SMB for Windows. Multiple VMs mount the same share and read/write concurrently — ideal for shared content, home directories, and lift-and-shift workloads that expect a file server. Shares are reachable only inside your VPC.
Key Features
NFS and SMB protocols, individually or together per share
Concurrent access from many VMs
Per-subnet access control with read-only or read-write grants
Active Directory identity integration for SMB shares
Quotas raised online without remounting
