DC Direct Connect

DX

Private Circuits

DC Direct Connect provides dedicated private connectivity that never touches the public internet — consistent latency and throughput for steady high-volume or latency-sensitive traffic. Order a port at a supported exchange, establish the cross-connect, and exchange routes over BGP.

Key Features

1 Gbps and 10 Gbps dedicated ports

Exchange and interconnect locations serving the West Africa (Accra) region

BGP route exchange with filtering under your control

MACsec encryption available on 10 Gbps ports

Sub-second failover to VPN standby paths

How It Works

1

Order your port

Request a 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps dedicated port at a supported exchange location through the console. We issue a Letter of Authorization within one business day.

2

Establish the cross-connect

Your carrier or the exchange operator runs a physical cross-connect from your equipment to the DAAKYI port using the LOA.

3

Configure BGP

Set up a BGP session with your ASN. Routes to your DC Virtual Networks propagate automatically, with route filtering under your control.

4

Go live with failover

Traffic flows privately with consistent latency. Pair with DC Cloud VPN as an encrypted standby path for automatic sub-second failover.
