Managing Virtual Machines
Working with the virtual machines in your tenant.
From your DAAKYI Cloud tenant dashboard in Sangfor SCP, select Virtual Machines to see the VMs in your environment, their power state, assigned resources and network placement.
Common VM operations
- View VM details — CPU, memory, disks, networks and current state
- Power operations — start, stop and restart (see the dedicated guide)
- Open the VM console for direct guest access where enabled
- Attach or expand disks within your storage quota where enabled
- Create VMs within your assigned quota where enabled for your tenant
Whether you can create or modify VMs yourself depends on your assigned service configuration and role. In some service models, changes are performed by DAAKYI on request — Managed Cloud customers can raise changes through support.
Inside the guest
Under the Self-Managed model, your team is responsible for the guest operating system, applications and data on each VM, as defined in the Shared Responsibility Model.
