Understanding Cloud Networks

How networking appears inside your tenant environment.

Your tenant includes network resources configured for your environment — typically one or more isolated networks that your virtual machines connect to.

What you may see in the Networking area

  • Your networks and subnets, and which VMs are connected to them
  • Routing and gateway configuration for your environment
  • Firewall / security policies applied to your workloads
  • Public-facing IP assignments where your service includes them

Baseline network security controls are applied by DAAKYI when your environment is provisioned. Depending on your service configuration, your team may be able to manage some network settings directly, while others are changed by DAAKYI on request.

Connectivity between your premises and your cloud environment (such as VPN) is designed with DAAKYI during onboarding. For changes, raise a support request or talk to your DAAKYI contact.
